A Bit About Me:
I’m Bryan Adams, Founder of Tone Studio, and for over 15 years, I’ve been immersed in the world of product design—bridging the gap between vision and execution through color, material, and finish (CMF).
My journey began with a love for cars (my first obsession: a 1966 Ford Falcon) and evolved into a career spanning automotive design, consumer electronics, and color mastery. From my early days as a fabricator and lead hard modeler at Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters—where I sharpened my skills in fabrication, model-making, and finishing—to defining the color and finish of iconic tech products as a Lead Painter and Color Specialist at Microsoft, every step reinforced one truth:
Getting color right isn’t just technical—it’s an art.
That realization led me to create Tone Studio—a space where designers, brands, and innovators can explore, refine, and execute color flawlessly. Whether it’s color matching, sample creation, or CMF development, my goal is to help creatives bring their vision to life—without compromise.
I’m proud to consult with Limbitless Solutions, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering children in the limb difference community through personalized, 3D-printed bionic arms and accessibility technology. Their mission ensures that no family is financially burdened because of a child’s limb difference.
At Limbitless, I work directly with college students, teaching model making, paint techniques, color matching, and concept development. Since students graduate and transition out, I visit annually to help preserve legacy knowledge, ensuring new teams continue building on past innovations.
I’m passionate about mentorship, hands-on craftsmanship, and inspiring the next generation of creators. Encouraging young people to work with their hands and strive for excellence is something I deeply believe in.
